    The Royal Beacon, Exmouth’s Regal Connection

    Situated in Exmouth’s delightful Regency Terrace, you will discover the historic 52 bedroom Royal Beacon Hotel, Exmouth’s Regal Connection. With spectacular views of the Jurassic Coast, outstanding service and fine dining in the 1810 restaurant, this 3 star hotel really is Exmouth’s finest. For over two centuries, The Royal Beacon Hotel has offered guests a tradition of genuine hospitality that has continued in its present role as Exmouth’s most historic hotel. Whether you’re with us for a short weekend break, a business trip or celebration, travelling light or with the whole family, the Royal Beacon has options to suit everyone.

     


    About the Hotel

    The hotel has 52 bedrooms. 37 in the main building which are traditionally styled, many with period feature and unrivaled views over the River Exe and across to Lyme Bay. In contrast, the more modern 15 courtyard rooms to the rear of the property offer comfortable budget accommodation.

    As a 3 star hotel, all our rooms are equipped with all the essentials for a luxury stay whether you are visiting on business or pleasure.


    Check in & check out times

    Guests can check in from 3pm on the day of arrival.  Departure is 11am. However, guest can extend there stay until 1pm subject to a £25 charge

     


    Disabled Access

    The Royal Beacon has disabled access. However, due to the individual nature of our bedrooms, we strongly recommend you call our reservations department on 0800 005 2244 to discuss your own personal requirements.

    • A number of rooms with walk-in showers
    • A lift servicing a number of floors
    • Bar, Lounge and Restaurant are all on the ground floor
    • Lift to the rear of the property from the car park offering access to the hotel


    Children

    We do not charge for children under two years of age. From two to sixteen a child is charged at £25 bed and breakfast. Dinner bed and breakfast rates are unavailable, but children are welcome to choose from either the children’s menu or restaurant menu and will be charged individually. Children aged sixteen and over are charged as an adult.


    Parking

    A small car park is situated to the rear of the hotel, where you can reserve a space for the sum of £10 per vehicle per night. In addition to this, free parking is available on the public highway to the front and side of the property.


    Dog Friendly

    Well-behaved dogs are welcomed, however, there is a charge of £15 per dog per night. Please inform our reservations team at the time of making your booking if you are bringing your dog/dogs. We have allocated ‘dog-friendly’ rooms.
